EID 2009

Assalamualaikum and hello readers!

Last week, I had my holidays on Eid celebration. Before leaving USM and Penang, I was really excited to go back home, to meet my beloved parents and family members.

Okay, I want to tell all of you about what had happened during my Hari Raya.

The night before celebrating Hari Raya, I played fireworks with my sisters and nieces. I know that I shouldn't do that, but its only once a year.

I was so happy :D

On the first Syawal, my family and I went to a nearer mosque to pray ‘solat sunat aidilfitri.’ After praying at the mosque, we went to our relatives’ graves. First, we went to my late sister’s grave, then to my late brother’s and lastly to my late grandparents. After that, we went to my auntie; which is my father’s eldest sister’s house. Usually, after visiting my auntie, we will go home and waiting for our relatives to come to our house. And of course, we did not have any chance to go to other houses.

Since we will organize our open house and my sister engagement at third Syawal, so many of our relatives came on that day. During third Syawal, I am so happy that they came to my house, helping my mum in the kitchen and having lunch together.

Picture captured in my sister's room during her engagement day. I was the photographer. :D

At 6.00 p.m, my friends came to my home. I am glad that we can meet each other even though they only came for several minutes.

with my friends when they came to my home

On Thursday, one of my friends sent me a message telling me that she wants to come to my house. And we planned to go to our friends’ houses on that day. And guess what, I drove my sister’s car to my friends’ houses for the first time since I have my license four months ago. Since that was my first time driving, so my mother and father were so worried letting me driving. But thank God, Alhamdulillah I arrived to and fro my house and my friends’ houses carefully.

That is my Eid stories.

Till we meet again in the next post.

Wassalam~

Bubbye.

Assalamualaikum and good day readers~

I bet that everyone have their own friends right? I also have my own friends. My friends are not just from my previous schools, matriculation or in USM. But, I have friends whom I know through internet such as friendster, facebook and myspace. I’m so happy that I found two people who have the same name with me from other countries. One is from Indonesia and the other one is from Singapore. Hope that I can make friends with other people from other country soon.

till we meet again in the next post!

Is life experience or paper qualification more important in order for a person to be successful?

Assalamualaikum and good day readers!

From this article, it tells us how experiences are needed in our life. But today, many parents want good education for their children. They think that, the higher the education we have, the cleverer we are. They tend to spend their money just for their children’s education. They sent them to good and top schools or universities to ensure that they will success in their future life. However, there are children who do not want to go for formal education like school and colleges or universities. This usually happens to children who really into art like singing or playing instruments.

From my point of view, I do think that both experiences and educations are important. For example, like me who taking Physics, I learn in lecture halls and tutorial classes. But then, I have to practice what I’ve learnt in the laboratory. And at the end of the day, I have to do my industrial training. There, I have to practice what I have learnt before.
I think that all fields need both experiences and educations. Teachers-to-be have their own practical’s, engineers-to-be have their own industrial training, athletes-to-be also have their own small tournament before they have their big tournament. And the lists go on. That’s my opinion.

Till we meet again in the next post.

life in university

Assalamualaikum and good day readers~

How are you, people? I’m praying that everyone is enjoying Ramadhan, the fasting month and full of barakah. Even though we have classes every day, but it’s not a reason we cannot fast. Be strong people! J I know that we are still new here, in the university. For me, it’s not easy to be here, far away from my family. But I know that I have to be here. To study and to get good achievements. Not just study in the lecture halls and tutorial classes, but we learn real life here. Being here taught me how to be independent. Like my father said during my registration day here, ‘You should learn to be independent, dear.’ And I still remember that. Because this is my first time being far away from my family. Before this, during my matriculation programme, my Matriculation College is not far from my home. So, I can go home whenever I want. But this time, USM is damn so far from my home. Besides, I don’t have any relatives here. I’m all alone here guys! But with all my parents hope and advices, I’m still here and I will be here until I grad. You know, one of my new days here, I took a wrong bus when I want to go back to RST. It’s not just me; many other students are same with me. They also took a wrong bus. What we do was, we went out from the bus when it stops, and we took another bus. Funny ey, but that was what happened to me. What I miss so much now is not just my family, but also my matriculation friends including my ‘roommates’. We always were together all the time. We ate together and went jogging together. I miss those moments with them. Besides, I miss my school buddies and the environment much more. Actually, school moments are the best things in our life rite?

The older we are, the more we understand life, and the more problems we have. That is what we call life.

Till we meet again in next post.

m y s e l f

Assalamualaikum and good day readers~

This is my second post. And I want to tell you who am I. As you know, my name is Izdihar Insyirah. It's not my real name. But, you can call me Insyirah. :)
I'm just a simple person. I love Taylor Swift so much and her country songs make me feels happy. I enjoy her music. One of my favourite songs is Love Story. I bet that everyone knows this song, right? The song played in my blog is that Love Story song. Few months ago, I’ve learned how to play guitar with my sister. But I just learned to play Love Story. Because I’ve just started to learn, so it’s not as good as played by Taylor Swift. Or even my sister. And when I feel like I want to play guitar, I just use my sister’s guitar because I don’t have my own yet. Perhaps, I don’t like I will have one. It’s not important anyway. One more thing that I really love to do it is to surf the Internet and reading novels. If I do one of these activities, I might not do anything else and I also might not interest in other thing that happens around me. One of English novel that I’ve read is Thrill Ride by Rachel Hawthorne. It’s awesome. Usually, I read Malay novels. My favourite writers are Ramlee Awang Mursyid, Damya Hanna and Aisya Sofea.
